　　本剧改编自同名漫画，讲述待业生崔俊雄（金路云 饰）因偶然事故陷入昏迷状态，与正在执行特别任务的地狱使者具玲（金喜善 饰）、林龙九（尹志温 饰）相遇，他于是作为忙内进入阴间独家企业驻马灯的灵魂管理本部所属危机管理组工作，帮助那些陷入危机的人们的故事。

故事发生在一个和我们的地球很相似的世界里，那里人们的灵魂变成灵神跟随自己。莉拉自幼（Dakota Blue Richards 饰）跟随身为约旦大学校长的叔叔一起生活，她热情、勇敢且富有正义心。一天科尔特夫人（nicole kidman 饰）要到北方去，希望莉拉能伴随身边。好奇的莉拉开心地答应。临行前叔叔交给她一个黄金罗盘，告诉她世界上只有一个人能读懂。莉拉从黄金罗盘中不仅能得到所问问题的答案，还了解到了自己的身世之谜。这一路上，科尔特夫人行为诡异，莉拉还发现在特尔特夫人的一份名单上赫然写着自己失踪朋友罗杰的名字！罗杰和其他孩子一样，被诱拐到极北之地成为科学试验品。莉拉找到时机逃跑出来，自己动身前去拯救罗杰……

托德·施特劳斯-斯古尔森将执导新线影业新片[难道不浪漫](Isn’t It Romantic,暂译)。影片由蕾蓓尔·威尔森主演，讲述一位刻薄女孩的平凡生活一夜之间变作了充满浪漫的爱情喜剧，她也由此成为朋友们的话题中心。斯古尔森以拍摄喜剧见长，2015年他导演的[幸存的女孩]曾入围多伦多电影节。

一块价值连城的玉为主线，引发出四个喜怨哀惧具有内在联系的独立故事。 第一段为独立故事，后三段倒叙，补充第一个故事。 故事一：喜-对爱的肯定 有一对情侣，女的在订婚前，将一个有特殊意义的玉佩交给自己的未婚夫。而一个喜欢这个女人的男人知道玉佩的秘密后，就雇小偷去偷玉佩。小偷成功偷到却又不幸丢失，就弄了块假的交差。而丢玉的未婚夫则想尽各种办法来寻找玉佩，后来无意中拿回了真玉佩。在两人的订婚仪式上，雇人偷玉的男人想抢婚，却因被小偷骗而失败，最终男女主角走到一起。 故事二： 怒-因爱而气 捡到小偷掉的玉佩的女孩遇到了一个失去了女儿的司机，司机像爱女儿般爱她，女孩误以为是爱情，司机很无奈，最后女孩伤心而去，将玉佩埋在了天地里。 故事三：哀-父的悲痛 但玉佩却被一个家里很困难的农民偶然中发现，知道玉佩很值钱后想卖掉为卧病多年的老伴治病，却被不孝的儿子发现，并无知地以低价卖给了一个花言巧语的文物贩子。 故事四：惧-凡人的无奈 文物贩子生活在城市边缘家里很困难的人，骗到玉佩后很高兴，但因为与债主、小流氓等的复杂关系，玉佩最后在混乱中被找玉佩的未婚夫拿走。文物贩子最后仍是一场空。
